RVM-14 Night Vision Monocular
The RVM-14 monocular is the result of innovation from AB Night Vision (manufacturers of the popular RNVG series of binocular housing), resulting in the ultimate monocular night vision device. These are the first true challenger to the venerable PVS14, and in our view surpass the PVS14 in every way. The RVM-14 is made entirely of 7075 aluminum while reducing the overall weight of the device compared to the classic PVS14. It also runs off a CR123A battery, increasing run time to an astonishing 40-50+ hours. Best of all, it maintains all the critical features which other aftermarket monoculars leave out, keeping manual gain control and also onboard infrared illumination.
There are no downsides to the RVM-14 – it is tougher, lighter, and with longer battery life compared to the PVS14. It also is priced within $100 of the classic PVS14, which makes the RVM-14 a no-brainer.
